Please note:

All of our wares are made with UL or ETL listed components. While our pieces do provide light, they are not intended to be primary sources of light and should be considered accent or atmospheric lighting. They are intended to be used with the bulbs provided (no more than 60w Edison style or Edison style LED bulbs) and used only with U. S. standard compliant electrical outlets (110-120V). For your safety, please do not modify our wares in any manner – this includes but is not limited to: disassembly, using halogen/incandescent bulbs, using bulb socket adapters (to change a candelabra base socket to a standard base socket), using higher wattage bulbs than are included, using a shade, or any other modification that alters the piece from the state in which it was upon leaving the Nest.
All of our wares are hand-crafted and assembled using untreated 1″ diameter black iron pipe. Aside from resulting in a more visually appealing piece, it also creates a more substantial weight than if using 1/4″ or 1/2″ black iron pipe. This may result in a cost prohibitive shipping charge. If you are interested in having a piece shipped and are willing to pay the additional charge to do so, please contact us via the Contact link on the site menu and we will do our best to find the most inexpensive way to pack and ship the item to you.
Due to the untreated nature of the black iron pipe used in our wares, these pieces will take on a natural patina (rust) if left in a damp environment or are otherwise exposed to moisture. While we here at the Nest love rust, we understand not everyone does… especially when it shows up uninvited! Please keep this in mind when choosing the location for displaying your piece.

the Tallboy:

This unique piece is aptly named! Coming in at just a hair under 20.5″ tall, perched upon a lightly sanded and Jacobean stained base (measuring approximately 1.5″H x 5 1/8″W x 9 1/8″L) affixed by 4 highly patinaed screws and washers – its slimline profile perfectly blends rustic and industrial elements to create a truly inspiring piece. The crisp white valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch) creates a striking contrast beside the cold 1″ diameter black iron pipe – tying in naturally with the warm wood base and the 6′ white and tan fabric wrapped cord. This piece also utilizes some 1 1/4″ components (at the valve and bulb housing) creating a more dramatic look and feel to its already commanding presence. The included 40 watt amber Edison style bulb is reminiscent of a lone water droplet as it clings to the edge of a faucet; defiantly refusing to relinquish its grip and fall.

the Gooseneck:

An industrial twist on a classic design – the Gooseneck has quickly become one of our more popular pieces! Its precision “center of mass” design allows the Gooseneck to be well balanced all on its own without needing to be affixed to a base for support – thereby checking a box off the list of requirements for any true minimalist. Constructed entirely of 1″ diameter untreated black iron pipe, the red valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch) of this minimalist piece creates just enough “pop” to make itself noticed. The straight 5″ pipe is not fully tightened; thus allowing for slight adjustment of desired positioning. Comes complete with 6′ black fabric wrapped cord and 25 watt Edison style bulb.

the Double:

As the saying goes – two bulbs are better than one! Well, perhaps that’s not exactly the saying; but for those who would like to make it a saying, this is the perfect piece for you! The Double features our first ever two bulb design – featuring two 25 watt Edison style bulbs. Constructed entirely of 1″ diameter untreated black iron pipe, with blue valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch) and 6′ black fabric wrapped cord, the Double is certain to turn the heads of those you know – causing them to take a double take in order to fully embrace the elegance of this unique piece.

Bottle Lamp (inverted):

This unique piece features an inverted green wine bottle as a twist on the classic glass shade. It houses a mini candelabra base LED bulb that runs super cool which is of utmost importance when using a bottle shade. Constructed entirely of 1″ diameter untreated black iron pipe, with blue valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch) and 6′ black fabric wrapped cord, this bottle lamp with inverted shade provides nice atmospheric lighting with its gentle green – almost hypnotic – glow.

Bottle Lamp (suspended):

This bottle lamp features a green wine bottle suspended like an elongated water droplet being stretched to its limit before finally plummeting from a faucet’s edge! Here, again, we’ve called upon the service of the mini candelabra base LED bulb to provide illumination and ensure safety by allowing the glass shade to remain cool to the touch. Constructed entirely of 1″ diameter untreated black iron pipe, with blue valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch) and 6′ white and tan fabric wrapped cord, this bottle lamp – with suspended off center mounted shade, will set the mood of any room in which you decide to showcase it.

Bottle Lamp (double):

This would be the “happy hour” among our bottle lamps – as you get two bottles for one lamp! Constructed entirely of 1″ diameter untreated black iron pipe, this piece features two brown beer bottles – each encompassing a mini candelabra base LED bulb, providing nice illumination and cool to touch temperatures. It sits upon a lightly sanded and Jacobean stained base (measuring approximately 1.5″H x 5 1/8″W x 9 1/8″L) affixed by 4 highly patinaed screws and washers and incorporates a white valve handle as its functional on/off rotary switch. Complete with 6′ white and tan fabric wrapped cord, this piece is sure to bring happiness no matter what the hour happens to be!

Spiral Shelf Floor Lamp:

This piece, standing right about 7 feet tall, is one of our largest pieces to date and is as striking as it is tall. Constructed entirely of 1″ diameter untreated black iron pipe, the five spiraling Jacobean stained wood block shelves twist their way around and up to be capped off with a massive (G40) LED Edison style bulb. This piece makes use of a white valve handle as its functional on/off rotary switch and is finished off with a 6′ white and tan fabric wrapped cord. You can put this baby anywhere (even in a corner) and it will be sure to command attention!

Book Nook:

Who doesn’t need a little nook for their favorite books? Constructed entirely of 1” diameter untreated black iron pipe, the Book Nook is sure to showcase your favorite tomes in rustic-industrial style and elegance! The Jacobean stained wood slider easily makes way to create space for your new future favorite literary works to be added. Complete with white valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch), black fabric wrapped cord and 40 watt Edison style curly filament bulb. Perfect for the home or office desk – or any other space for that matter!

One Armed Bandit:

Why not take a chance on this piece? We call it the One Armed Bandit but there’s no gamble here – it’s a guaranteed winner and a piece that is sure to please! This piece stands at 26.5” tall and features a single “arm” that perfectly positions the 40 watt Edison Style curly filament bulb to illuminate the functional voltage meter – encased in a highly patinaed (rusty!) housing – just below. Complete with white valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch), black fabric wrapped cord and 1” diameter untreated black iron pipe construction.

Floor Lamp Double With Gauge:

If you are looking for a rustic-industrial floor lamp that screams “rustic-industrial” – look no further! This piece comes in at 77.5″ tall and features all 1” diameter untreated black iron pipe construction, two Edison style bulbs (a large 60 watt replacement G40 LED and a smaller 25 watt squirrel cage filament), a working voltage meter and integrated Jacobean stained wood micro tabletop. The voltage meter is encased in a highly patinaed (rusty!) housing and its needle springs to life when the white valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch) is turned on. Complete with black fabric wrapped cord, this is the rustic-industrial floor lamp you are looking for!

Catchy naming isn’t as easy as we’ve made it look in the past – so we have taken a more direct approach with this one! It’s the first in a series integrating a (functional, of course) 4 outlet electrical box into our rustic-industrial lighting wares. Now, a vacant and easily accessible outlet is available at your fingertips right there on your desk! The functional outlets will power and/or charge your accessories whether the lamp is on or off. Constructed of 1” diameter untreated black iron pipe and complete with white valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch), 3 prong black fabric wrapped cord and 40 watt Edison style bulb.

Pallet Utility Rack:

This utility rack is Constructed of 1” diameter untreated black iron pipe and reclaimed wood pallet. The pallet wood has been lightly sanded and left natural (untreated) so as to not take away from its inherent charm (black ink manufacturer’s stamping on each side, nail holes and blemishes)!

Please note: Wood pallets are not precision crafted pieces of furniture. This pallet has seen many miles and can tell many stories! Consequently, finding a 90 degree angle (or perfection in general) in the pallet’s construction may prove more rare than a Sasquatch siting. While we could make it “perfect”, it then would not be authentic. Therefore, we chose to see the sum of its imperfections as perfection, itself – in order to maintain the authenticity of the piece and in keeping with our rustic-industrial roots.

Double Stack Pallet Utility Rack:

Double Stack

This 2 shelf utility rack is Constructed of 1” diameter untreated black iron pipe and reclaimed wood pallet. The pallet wood has been lightly sanded and left natural (untreated) thereby fulfilling the rustic role in this rustic-industrial piece. Please see note above regarding wood pallet construction and its lack of precision.

The fourth in a series integrating a (functional, of course) 4 outlet electrical box into our rustic-industrial lighting wares. Now, a vacant and easily accessible outlet is available at your fingertips right there on your desk! The functional outlets will power and/or charge your accessories whether the lamp is on or off. Constructed of 1” diameter untreated black iron pipe and complete with white valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch), 3 prong black fabric wrapped cord and 40 watt curly filament Edison style bulb.

Integrated Light Table (Set of 2):

A set of left and right integrated light tables – use them as end tables, side tables, night stands or for any other space you can think of! The Jacobean stained table surface measures approximately 16″ deep x 18″ wide x 22″ tall with an overall height from bottom to top of 61 3/4″. Constructed of 1” diameter untreated black iron pipe and complete with white valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch), black fabric wrapped cord and 60 watt replacement amber white LED Edison style bulb, these integrated light tables are topped off with an 11″ x 13″ tan fabric drum lamp shade with Parisian script.

Double Valve Cage Light:

We’ve done two bulb builds before – but what makes this particular piece unique is that it’s the first to feature two on/off rotary switch functional valve handles to independently control the bulb operation! Both bulbs off? Both bulbs on? Just one bulb on? Just the other bulb on? Now, it’s completely within your control. This piece stands at approximately 31″ tall, features a weathered metal cage protected glass fixture – with included 40 watt curly filament Edison style bulb, giant G40 60 watt replacement LED Edison style bulb, white valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch) to operate the G40 bulb at the top, dark green valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch) to operate the curly filament bulb at the bottom and black fabric wrapped cord.

Mini Cage Light:

While this piece may be compact in size – with its new coat of deep red paint, it certainly makes a big (not to mention bold) statement! Clean, simple and small enough to be placed anywhere you need to add a bit of light and/or creative inspiration. Features a freshly painted red metal cage protected glass fixture – with included 25 watt curly filament Edison style bulb, white valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch) and black fabric wrapped cord.

Flat Top Caddy Light:

Here we have the Flat Top Caddy Light – a great example of rustic-industrial with the perfect blend of dark Jacobean stained wood shelf and untreated 1″ diameter black iron pipe. Perfect atop a dresser or night stand – conveniently place all of your “daily carry” items (wallet, keys, jewelry, phone, etc) on the integrated caddy shelf to be ready and waiting for you at the start of your next day. Works well on a side/end table also – place a vase with flowers, a plant, pictures or anything else you wish to display. Complete with 40 watt amber Edison style bulb, white valve handle (and functional on/off rotary switch) and white and tan fabric wrapped cord.
